Ask your contractor about these items:
1. Not installing an electrical disconnect
2. Not changing the Freon tubing from the indoor part of the unit to the out door part of the unit.
3. Not installing new flue pipe with needed combustion air to bring the furnace up to the latest safety codes .
4. Not getting a City inspection.
5. No level foundation or slab for your air conditioner to sit on.
6. Ask for experienced, trained and licensed technicians.
7. Not getting your proposal in writing. If it is not in
writing they are not going to do it! Check the contract closely.
These are items often ignored.

Here's one last point. Many consumers are skeptical about contractors. So in addition to dedicating our business to consumer education, we do one more thing as well. We guarantee our work. If you aren't happy with our work, we'll work to make it right. We have a NO LEMON GUARANTEE!! If any complete mechanical system product from Bailey Brothers should fail more than 3 times for the same verified problem within the first year of date of purchase, Bailey Brothers will replace it FREE!
What could be fairer?
As a matter of fact, add this question to the list of things to ask a contractor you're considering hiring, "Do you guarantee your work?" Not all companies do -- and it is important that you have this information before you make your decision.
